| Nice service. You get what you pay for. Rooms are too small.
I couldn't watch TV it was too big for the room.
The window shades to do not cover the sides of the window, so as soon as the sun is out it hits you right on your face.
The day we arrive the bathroom was clean, 2nd day it was not cleaned properly. |

| Having stayed in the Hitlon across the parking lot, i chose this as i frequented the bar a few nights and thought this hotel might be chic. A decision i regret. Whilst the ground level of the hotel is nice, pool table, bar, relax area, the actual room was a complete disappointment. The blackout blinds were not blackout at all, early morning you could see the daylight breaking through the room, making it impossible to sleep in, the mattress was not at all comfortable, you could feel the springs all through the night which led to lack of sleep. The mini fridge started humming on the second night causing me to unplug it and spoil all our food. The lights did not work properly, some switches on the wall which didnt really do anything. I wasnt happy with the room when comparing to the one accross the road, and this wasnt any cheaper at the time.
There are some positives: they allowed early check in, free wifi and a free bottle of water in the room. The bar is open till 11 with selection of wines and spirits, and they have a free pool table.
Unfortunately, the positives don't outweight the negatives and i will not be i recommending this hotel to anyone. This was the last stop on our US trip and i wish i had booked another hotel. 4 days later and still paying for the lack of sleep. |

| This hotel was fairly close to Dulles Airport and had 24/7 shuttle service which is hard to find. Shuttle was very prompt. Lobby, bar and pool areas are nice. Worst thing was the bathroom door. It just slides in place and "hangs", so it dosen't completely close. |

| I like Aloft.....it has a young sensibility, providing what a lone traveler needs, without feeling pretentious.
There is a fridge in the room which is good and an excellent shower. The available morning muffins and coffee hit the spot.
The bed is big and comfortable as is the HD flat screen. There is also a hookup to stream video from a laptop to the screen. There are movies available, but they seemed a bit expensive, and I didn't take advantage of what was on offer.
The main drawback is location. It is slightly off the beaten track and without a car would be difficult to get around. But this is way suburban America is, and to stay downtown and get a equal quality of comfort would be double the expense.
I will definitely return. |

| The lobby and surrounding areas were attractive and the room was clean. It was in a secluded area, which was what we wanted, but there is a fully-stocked gas station/convenience store within walking distance. There were some drawbacks, however. The linens were in poor condition and the mattress was hard. I ordered chicken from the bar that turned out to be undercooked. The rooms are very small. It lies just beyond a $4 tollbooth, which made even short jaunts rather expensive. For the price, however, I was not disappointed, although I was not particularly impressed, either. |

| Ther area is so very new,even people who have lived there a long time had difficulites figuring out where it was located...but the search is well worth the find at the end!
The Hotel Aloft at Dulles is an exceptional place to land, rest, relax and do whatever one needs to do...it is clean, well kept, great bed and amazing shower.
The staff was the best ever; they were patient with my calls to say I was lost and styed right in there with me to make sure I got un-lost and to the hotel. I don't think I have ever stayed in a more comfortable commercial lodging anywhere and I travel alot, I get lost alot too...:) ...I was able to order out and have a very pleasant dinner delivered in a timely manner and enjoyed the lobby activity while I waited for my food. It seemed like a party, a happy party - the desk people were pleasant, kind and helpful. The guests were enjoying themselves at the bar, playing pool, working in the business area and there was a wonderful woman making jewelry in the lobby - that was fun.
Everyone should stay at the Aloft Hotel, it is simple elegance! |

| The good part about this hotel is close to highway. But I had a incident in which I almost got into a fight because the person who checked me in didn't put me on the first floor where its only for "people with dogs". When I came at night my dog was barking and a receptionist from the hotel next door was coming out of my room. My dog had pee inside her kennel so who knows what they did because she never pee inside it. He said he thought we were dead or something happened and he was checking. Really unprofessional and all he said was we need to move you to the first floor. No one had told us we needed to sign waiver for bringing in a dog. This hotel claims to o have doggy bed and treats which none were given to our dog. I will not stay at this place again. I rather stay at the Sheraton where I used to stay and never had a problem. Also the bar closes early and didn't serve food. |
