| The staff was friendly and accomodating. The room with 2 queen bed was not cramped, even with a small fridge and microwave. It is literally next to the state police barracks. On the down side, the common areas REEKED of tobacco smoke. We had a non-smoking room but the odor in the halls permiated the walls and the breakfast was not, uhh, bountiful. |

| Upon arrival at the hotel for 100pm check-in time there was no attendant at the reception desk, we had to wait to minutes for someone to show up at the desk, when we finally checked in the receptionist advised us that our room would not be ready for atleast another 10-20 minutes because they where still in the process of cleaning it, after waiting 10 minutes they assigned us to a different room that was very clean, neat and operational. the only downfall i seen at this hotel was no attendant at the reception desk for the 100pm check-in time, otherwise a decent hotel to stay at and a very good location off of interstate 81 close to all attractions and restaurants in the area. |

| Comfortable beds and friendly staff. Not a beautiful location, but these types of hotels are always near the highways, and it is USA! People look at you as if you're mad for walking the few 100 metres to the shops,
but friendly and clean. |

| The Super 8 on the northern edge of Martinsburg is a good but not great value--for that, I would expect lower rates or a building that doesn't exude stale cigarette odor. It's conveniently located off the highway and within a few minutes' drive of downtown, with plenty of food options nearby. Neighbors were a bit noisy but nothing too distracting. Don't count on a nourishing breakfast. |

| Room was clean. Front desk was very helpful and courteous. Places to eat were very close to hotel location. Convenient for travel. |

| We've used super 8 for years. It appears super 8 can't afford to maintain the quality of their properties. We found carpet and pad separated, bedspreas torn at the seams, carpet pulling away from stairs, handicap equipment not safe to use.
Super 8 has always been very clean and well maintained. It gave the appearance of not being able to afford the maintainance of their properties....sad. |
