Recent Wingate Wyndham Winchester Review: "We actually live not 30 minutes from the hotel but wanted to have a "mini vacation" - just 1 night away from home to relax - so I searched online for a hotel with an indoor pool, gym, free breakfast and an affordable price with good reviews - Wingate by Wyndham in Winchester is what seemed to fit our requirements. The outside of the hotel is very pretty.  We had no problem checking in and front desk person was very nice, (as were other staff we met later.) The room was clean and had everything we needed. The pool and the gym were decent. The breakfast in the morning included waffles, bagels, English muffins, croissants (with various spreads available), some type of cinnamon roll things, biscuits, sausage gravy, a selection of cold cereals, juices, coffee, tea, fresh fruits, and more. The hotel is located within walking distance of restaurants and shopping. This hotel isn't super fancy but it's very nice - and exceeded expectations for the price. We will definitely be checking in again next time we just need a night away."
